Oversea Treatment of Korean Professional Soccer Player

Abstract
We analyzed the incidence and result of medical care in foreign countries for Korean professional soccer player in ten Korean football team. We retrospectively reviewed medical records and surgical results reported by each ten athletic trainers. We analyzed total number of oversea mecial care, composition of foreign countries, changes of number acccording to the year change , classification of medical care according to injury site, advatages and drawbacks of oversea medical care and finally success rate of oversea surgery and medical care . Consequently, domestic doctors are requested to have more aggressive attitude that they have a trust each other by persuading athletes and team owners positively, and there is some need of our effort for reducing the gap of the process between oversea medical care and domestic care . Moreover, The positive activities of medical committees, KFA (Korean football association), for the continuous research, education and the interest are needed.
